What types of photo can I send for my portrait?
You can send us any photo you would like us to transform into a portrait.
The most common photos we receive to convert into portraits are self photos, photos of children, of family, of special events such as an anniversary, wedding, or graduation ceremony, of pets, of a favourite trip or as photos of any special or memorable events.
If the photo you choose is not very high quality, we recommend sending additional pictures for reference purposes. Please note that we do not know the people who are going to be painted. Therefore, we have to guide ourselves by using the material you supply in order to do the best possible job. For example, if the original photo is poorly illuminated, a different photo may show us certain details such as the skin or hair color which may not be as evident in the original photo. If this is the case, please explain the aspects you would like our artists to bear in mind when painting your portrait
In our section How To Select A Suitable Photo For A Custom Oil Portrait, you will find more details to help you select a suitable photo to transform into a portrait.
How will my portrait look?
Your portrait will be similar to the ones that you will find on our website since they will be painted by the same portrait artists.. Can I make a special request?
If you have a special request you would like us to consider, please notify us when you place your order in the comments field of the online order from. You should explain all the aspects you would like us to consider when our artists paint your portrait.
